Partnerships in Higher Education Norway - North America 2008-2011". University of Agder (UiA), Kristiansand, Norway and UNO's IS&T collaborated to obtain a grant of nearly $260,000 for 3.5 years from the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (an agency under the Ministry of Education and Research) to continue and extend the partnership between UiA and UNO. Khazanchi will serve as the Project Director for administering the grant on the UNO campus. The grant will fund large student exchanges between the two universities (35 students each way) and allow faculty and researchers to visit each campus for workshops and to establish and expand research collaborations.
