NEW GRADUATE MINOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION Organizations today need workers who have a deep understanding of both technology and business. Students that desire to increase their knowledge of business beyond their MS MIS degree should consider a Minor in Business Administration. The minor requires the completion of foundation courses that are required by the College of Business as well as nine credit hours of graduate courses in the College of Business. Students have the flexibility to choose any courses that match their needs by focusing on accounting, marketing, finance, economics, or any combination of courses that meet their needs. This minor can enable students to gain a deeper understanding of either general business or specific areas of business that can be applied to their knowledge of management information systems.

Students interested in declaring a Minor in Business Administration as part of their MS MIS degree should speak with Carla Frakes. For further details, see the description of the graduate minor in Business Administration on the concentrations web page. [May 2, 2009]
