Second BS Degree in Management Information Systems

A student who has met the requirements for a baccalaureate degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha may receive a second degree in Management Information Systems by completing a minimum of 30 additional semester hours and meet the requirements for the BIS degree previously listed.

To obtain Management Information Systems as a second bachelor's degree, students must complete academic requirements for the degree which includes 19 credit hours of IS&T core courses, 6 credit hours of Math courses, 21 credit hours of MIS core courses, and 12 credit hours of upper level specialization courses. Students must consult an academic advisor prior to starting this program. Some transfer coursework may not apply; however, 30 of the last 36 hours for the degree must be registered for and carried at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
